My Path to Lucid Living

Honoring every experience as an opportunity for learning and growth.

So a little more about me! I’m currently in my undergrad at The Evergreen State college in Washington studying Psychology. Much of my inspiration for taking up a blog was to share many of the life-changing insights I was finding during my studies.

So far I’ve been quite impressed with how much overlap there is between various different spiritual traditions, and some of the cutting edge of psychological research. Health Psychology, for example, is a relatively new field that is turning psychology on its head. We’ve spent so much of our time studying how to fix people when they are broken, that we never seem to care how to maintain people when they’re well!

I’m also personally fascinated with dreams, which I believe represent far more than current scientific study is giving them credit for. Dreams are far more complex than we currently understand, and lucid dreaming has the potential to completely alter how humanity views itself. If properly developed, I believe that the next 50 years could see dreaming, and especially lucid dreaming, coming to center stage in terms of understanding and working with our psyche.
